Video tutorial
Allthough the software is very intuitive just take a look at the video tutorial to learn how easy it is to create your photo composite.
How to name your files?
Last name [second last name], First name.jpg
like Martínez Galveston, Stacey.jpg
Files will be sorted by last name + first name and printed as
Stacey Martínez Galveston
How to insert a new line?
Insert a # symbol, this can be done while naming the files or later editing the text in the right panel.
Smith, Thomas#.jpg will be printed as
Thomas
Smith
Please notice that the comma will not be printed and the first name is printed before the last name but sorting is done by last name + first name.
Some countries use doble last names as displayed in the sample, if yours only uses one you may name files as Galveston, Stacey.jpg or Galveston, Stacey#.jpg if you want a new line after the name.
How to create a composite
- Create a new composite using the main menu and input the size and resolution.
- Click at the top right students icon to select the students panel.
- Drag student images into the design area, drag the blue margin lines to automatically distribute and align the images.
- Select the teacher panel and drag teachers into the design area.
- Add background, clipart or texts using the appropriate panels at right, click on top icons to select them.
Tips
- We recommend using a 2 x 3 or 3 x 4 aspect ratio for the best results.
- For short names, it’s better to place the text on a single line.
- First, create and save the standard composite, then rename and reopen the file to create the memory mate version.
- Drag in your own backgrounds or cliparts to include a school logo or custom images.
- Set the resolution to at least 254 PPI for high-quality printing.
